Today (September 26) sees the launch of a new travel advice website from the team behind Business Traveller magazine.
According to the website, Seatplans.com provides ”information on all classes of travel with accurate seat plans sourced directly from the major airlines as well as detailed information on the actual seats/beds on the plane.”
Users can post reviews alongside the advice and opinions already given by the site”s writers.
The Seatplans team hope to help travellers avoid ”the worst seat on the plane” with seat statistics such as row configuration, legroom, recline angle and the location of washrooms and even bulkheads.
Extensive information on inflight entertainment systems (IFE) sourced from the airlines is also provided.
Advice on 43 airlines and over 300 aircraft is currently available, with more expected in the near future.
