Sabre Travel Network has joined the Scottish Passenger Agents’ Association (SPAA) in a bid to build relationships with the trade.
Elisabeth Martins, Sabre’s country manager for the UK and Ireland, said the SPAA would be a “vital platform” for raising Sabre’s profile with the travel industry in Scotland.
“The SPAA is recognised as one of the most important organisations in the travel industry,” she said.
“As the largest GDS provider in the world, we felt it was important to engage with its agency members, and introduce our market-leading technology north of the border.”
Sabre is likely to be hoping to expand the use of its agent workspace Sabre Red – termed a “total travel platform” – which the travel technology firm launched last year.
