This morning (15 October) sees the hugely-anticipated handover to Singapore Airlines of the first Airbus A380.
ABTN is in Toulouse for the official ceremony and will report on the Megaliner handover that will take place in Airbus” Delivery Centre later today.
Singapore Airlines will also unveil its new cabin interior for the ultra-large aircraft, that is scheduled to depart Toulouse later tomorrow for arrival into Changi International Airport the following day.
First departure is slated for 25 October with a charity flight between Singapore and Sydney, while formal entry into service will start from 28 October.
