Ryanair is to operate flights to Thessaloniki, Greece’s second city, from April.
Ryanair will operate from Stansted on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from April 13.
The route to the commercial city is already well served from South East England, however all flights are from Gatwick. Olympic Air flies five times a week and British Airways and EasyJet each fly four times a week.
Ryanair will also operate to Thessaloniki from Charleroi in Belgium, Stockholm’s Skavsta airport and Oslo’s Rygge airport. Fares from Stansted will be from £37.99 one way.
