Prime Minister David Cameron has added his name to a growing number of personalities, private individuals and well known corporations keen to endorse and help promote the work being done by the Douglas Bader Foundation for Disabled Children. Mr Cameron’s letter from 10 Downing Street can be seen on the ArtToFly website (look at Testimonials under “About Us” on www.arttofly.org ).
ArtToFly is a non-profit website established to raise money for the Douglas Bader Foundation’s Disabled Children’s Flying Days – a hugely popular programme where pilots devote a day to giving groups of disabled children the experience of flight, often their first, in a light aircraft. Please look at the Photo Gallery on the above website.
ArtToFly offers a range of aviation paintings, prints and books signed by famous pilots and aircrews from WWII, including Douglas Bader, where all profits go to the Douglas Bader Foundation’s Disabled Children’s Flying Days initiative.
