A passenger jet skidded off a runway at Moscow's Domodedevo airport killing two people on board.
Reports from Russia said both engines on the Tu-154 aircraft, operated by Dagestan Airlines, failed shortly after take off from another Moscow hub, Vnukovo airport.
The plane, which broke into three pieces when it crashed into buildings adjacent to the air field, had been en route to Makhachkala, the capital of the Republic of Dagestan in Russia's North Caucasus.
More than 80 of the 169 on board were injured on the accident.
