Hotelscene boosts sales team
Hotel and meetings company Hotelscene has boosted its team with the appointment of three new sales managers.
The newcomers are Jodie Gibson, Jonathan Miles and John Van Helden.
Ms Gibson joins from Inntel where she was a senior account manager and has a background in hotel management and hotel booking agencies.
Mr Miles is a recruit from conference and event specialist Brilliant Weekends where he was manager for corporate client relationships.
Mr Van Helden joins for independent TMC Portman Travel where he worked for nine years in both sales and account management.
Coyle joins Aer Lingus
Sean Coyle has left Ryanair to join fellow Irish carrier Aer Lingus as chief financial officer.
Mr Coyle, 35 will join the carrier next month and also be appointed to its board.
He was Ryanair's director of scheduled revenue, overseeing route selection and profitability, network strategy and capacity allocation.
He joined Ryanair in 1998 and also served as its head of investor relations and commercial director.
Dale to head Travelocity sales
Online agency Travelocity Business has appointed DeAnne Dale to head its sales team.
Ms Dale joined the Sabre-owned agency in 2005 and previously was in charge of its account management.
Her new title is vp of sales and account management.
Pegasus recruits Leutwyler
IT company Pegasus has recruited Ric Leutwyler as its new president of Pegasus representation services which include Utell Hotels and Unirez by Pegasus.
Mr Leutwyler joins from Best Western where he has worked since 2002. He has also previously worked for Cendant Travel and AT&T.
Wigger moves to Austrian
Austrian Airlines has appointed Dr Burkard Wigger as its new vp of its technical department.
Dr Wigger, 49, replaces Walter Hechenberger who has joined another carrier.
Dr Wigger joins Austrian from German leisure airline Condor where he developed a new aircraft maintenance programme.
