Oasis Hong Kong Airlines has released images of its upgraded business class that has now rolled out across its fleet.
The ”businessOasis” cabin will offer what the airline refers to as ”restaurant quality” catering on board as meal courses are served individually, while a new dessert trolley has been created rather than providing pre-packed meals.
A new amenity kit, noise cancellation headsets and heavier blankets feature as part of the upgrade while new crockery and glassware are also in the refurbishment.
Given the news yesterday that Singapore Airlines is to start business class only flights across the Pacific, Oasis believes there is a market for Asian business travel ” but at its lower fares.
”Our full-service offering ” combined with competitive fares ” makes Oasis the smart way to travel,” said CEO Stephen Miller.
Oasis” focus on budget travel has now extended to its business class upgrade, which will be available on services from Hong Kong to Vancouver and London Gatwick.
”Our new Boeing 747-400 is due to come from ANA in May,” an Oasis spokeswoman told ABTN. ”It is the last of the three additional aircraft that we have purchased.”
Oasis business class seats have a 60” pitch and a 130 degree recline.
