Norwegian has announced it will increase frequency on its services from Dublin, Shannon and Edinburgh to New York Stewart International for its winter 2018 schedule from 28 October.
At Dublin, the airline will continue its newly-increased summer schedule of two flights per day to both Stewart and Providence, Rhode Island. The routes will be operated by a B737 Max aircraft.
The service to Stewart from Ireland’s Shannon airport will be increased to a daily service, with tickets available now.
Finally, flights from Edinburgh to Stewart will also move to a daily service from the current three per week. This route will also be served by the B737 Max.
It was revealed yesterday that British Airways owner IAG has purchased shares in Norwegian with a view to opening discussions about a full offer, though both airlines say no such discussions have been held.
