A new travel scheme will guarantee business travellers won”t pay any increases in their transatlantic fares for five years.
They will also gain savings of up to 60% on business-class rates with network carrier Delta Air Lines and discounts at luxury city hotels, although there is a 16% administration fee ” less for substantial users.
The scheme will be offered by Global Business Pass (GBP), which is powered by Delta Air Lines and Marriott International.
In order to qualify for the benefits of this programme, British and European firms are required to buy the first trips to the US before 31 December this year.
Booking prior to these dates guarantees the ongoing fares across a network of 250 cities until 2013, excluding surcharges and taxes.
The scheme is then maintained by topping up increments of ”1,500 or more.
Available online, GBP is flexible with one-way and return travel and no fees are charged for changes.
In addition, clients will receive travel reports, on-going special offers and can buy direct, through their travel agent or in- house bookers.
