South African Airways (SAA) has moved into a new arrivals lounge at Terminal one at London Heathrow.
The new lounge will be available to SAA customers who are travelling Business class, Voyager Platinum, Gold and Silver cardholders and Star Gold customers. SAA will share the lounge with Star Alliance carriers, bmi and United Airlines, who are starting the ”Under One Roof” process of alliance consolidation in the same terminal that is ” slowly ” beginning to occur across the airport.
”We are confident our passengers will benefit from this move and we will ensure that all our needs are met to the best of our ability,” said SAA regional manager of UK and Ireland Marcus McKenzie.
Situated on the mezzanine level on entering the arrivals concourse, the lounge is decorated in the style of a caf” and will offer business facilities, showers and food.
”We trust our customers will take full advantage of this facility which will help revitalise them after a long journey,” said McKenzie.
