VLM Airlines has introduced a higher tier for its loyalty card, qualifying passengers for premium services.
The carrier”s existing VLM Encore frequent flyer programme (FFP) card has already attracted more than 35,000 members since its launch a year ago and has now undergone a revamp.
Very regular customers will qualify for the higher tier, which will allow access to the fast lane at Brussels Airport, as well as entry to the business lounge in Antwerp for example.
”A recent study showed that 84% of our business passengers are members of VLM Encore,” said VLM Airlines managing director, Johan Vanneste.
”That is why we have decided to enhance further the programme and develop additional tools for very regular passengers, allowing them to receive additional benefits.”
VLM says that its Encore FFP does not require high redemption levels ”or impose so many restrictions that the programme becomes unattractive.” Redemption is offered on all booking classes and cabins.
