Malaysia Airlines has opened its Regional Golden Lounge at Kuala Lumpur International Airport offering premier travellers various useful amenities.
It is open to First and Business class passengers, as well as Enrich Platinum and Gold members - regardless of what class they are travelling in ” and Silver members if they redeem miles (on a per-entrance basis).
Located on level 5 of the main terminal building, services and facilities to help travellers relax include a spa service, foot reflexology, 15-minute head and shoulder massages, and manicures and pedicures.
A business centre is equipped with four PCs with internet access, a fax and photocopying service, and conference room.
Additional features include a Muslim prayer-room, hot and cold food, full bar service, and a pavilion area with water features.
”We have acknowledged and recognised the views from our customers and clearly translated their needs in design intent,” said Malaysia Airlines deputy chairman Dato S Sadasivan. ”This new design concept offers privacy and comfort by providing separate zones for work and leisure.
”This is our way of rewarding our loyal customers especially our Enrich members. The sandstone, marble, timber and jungle concept landscaping [bring] all the natural elements together to create a haven for our passengers.”
The lounge can accommodate up to 190 passengers and is open daily from 5am to 2am.
