Both the terminal and its facilities have been enhanced by Manston Airport, adding services for passengers and ensuring the airport looks its best for visitors this winter.
Chief Executive Charles Buchanan explained: “Manston now has first-class amenities which allow us to develop the services we provide to passengers and visitors.
“We now have an
ATM machine and free Wi-Fi is available in the terminal - not just for passengers but also for people using the café or meeting passengers.
“In addition, the terminal signage is being replaced with our branding and the building has been painted white.
”We’re all delighted with the facelift that makes the airport look fresher, more modern and more attractive.”
The upgrade is more good news for the airport. Last week flybe announced its low-cost services to Manchester and Edinburgh are included in its new 2011 schedule which means local people can book flights from now right through to September next year.
Mr Buchanan added: “We will continue to invest in the airport’s infrastructure as passenger numbers grow.”
