German carrier, Lufthansa has introduced a dedicated personal assistant service for its first class passengers and Circle members at London Heathrow.
The new service is available for Lufthansa”s first class customers departing from Terminal 2, Heathrow, who will be immediately met at check-in by a dedicated Personal Assistant and escorted through security control, bypassing queues to be taken directly to the Lufthansa lounge.
In addition, customers arriving into Heathrow can also benefit from the new service, being met directly at the aircraft door, and escorted swiftly through passport and customs control.
The new service follows a successful three month trail and Lufthansa says the customer response to the new service has been overwhelmingly positive with an average of 50 passengers a day using the new facility.
”Lufthansa”s new Personal Assistant service offers a new and exclusive benefit for our best and most loyal customers flying out of London, further strengthening our leading position in the premium segment,” said Lufthansa general manager UK and Ireland, Marianne Sammann.
A similar service is also being introduced at London City Airport.
