SAS creates simple storyboard showcasing innovative travel solutions
Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has designed a quirky comic-book guide to its innovative travel solutions. The short and snappy manual, in the form of an entertaining comic-strip, follows the journey of a typical SAS business traveller and reveals how SAS' travel solutions make air travel as simple and convenient as possible.
The storyboard is accompanied by a step-by-step guide that takes passengers through each of SAS' innovations, including the SAS mobile portal, sas.mobi and shows passengers how to:
- check-in via mobile phone or the SAS website, flysas.co.uk, from 22 hours to 1 hour before departure;
- book seats in advance via mobile phone or the SAS website;
- receive text alerts informing them of changes to departure times;
- receive texts on request showing seat availability, timetables, departure and arrival information and booking details;
- use the airport's self-service kiosks to check-in with or without baggage, print baggage tags, choose seats, and add frequent flier numbers;
- access up-to-date information including city guides and the latest news and weather;
- check their frequent flier status and redeem points.
SAS General Manager United Kingdom & Ireland, Lars-Ove Filipson said: "SAS has always been at the forefront of developing innovative travel solutions, and this new comic-book guide showcases just some of the many ways we are making air travel a faster and smoother experience, especially for the business traveller and frequent flier. In fact, a good example of how you can save time and be in control of your own destiny is the trial at Heathrow of bar coded boarding cards for mobile phones."
