UK regional airline Loganair is increasing frequency on its new seasonal route between Glasgow and Donegal in Ireland.
The carrier, which plans to resume services on the route on 1 July, is now adding a third weekly frequency on Wednesdays from 12 July to complement the already planned flights on Saturday and Sunday.
Luke Lovegrove, chief commercial officer at Loganair, said: “Since we went on sale with our new service to Donegal, we have been impressed with the strength of demand and, after listening to customer feedback about our days of operation, we are happy to include a new Wednesday service, just in time for the peak summer period.”
Eilís Docherty, Donegal airport’s managing director added: “We are looking forward to welcoming Loganair back to Donegal and are delighted to see the increase in frequency, which will give our passengers the option for midweek travel.”
