UK regional carrier Loganair is to restore its route between Glasgow and Donegal in northwest Ireland this summer.
The Scottish airline will offer twice-weekly flights from 1 July to 24 September on the route with services operating on Saturday and Sunday. It will be the only direct UK route to Donegal.
Loganair said the move marked the “rekindling of a longstanding relationship” between Loganair and Donegal airport, which goes back to the early 1990s. The airline will use ATR42 aircraft on the restored route.
Luke Lovegrove, Loganair’s chief commercial officer, Loganair, said: “We are delighted to be able to restore this important connectivity between the UK and Ireland.”
