LOT Polish Airlines is replacing its fleet of Embraer 145 aircraft with Embraer 170, 175 and 190-200 planes.
The Embraer 145, popularly known as the Pencil, operated its last LOT flight from Gdansk to Warsaw.
LOT had 14 of the 145 aircraft from the Brazilian manufacturer, serving short European and domestic routes.
Since 2003, LOT is using ten ERJ 170s, 14 ERJ 175s and one ERJ 190-200 (also known as the ERJ 195).
The Polish carrier will take delivery of a further three ERJ 195s by the end of 2011.
