LOT Polish Airlines has unveiled a new cabin interior for its Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft, with the first retrofitted aircraft entering service on 2 January.
The design is inspired by Poland’s natural landscapes, the carrier said, and will be gradually rolled out across its entire fleet.
Along with a new colour palette of blue and amber, the refresh includes new passenger seats manufactured by Recaro that feature a six-way adjustable headrest, a 60W USB-C port, a mobile device holder and “a range of ergonomic features designed to ensure a high level of comfort,” the carrier said.
The updated cabin interiors mirror the design found in LOT’s business lounges in Warsaw and Chicago. The airline said that it will continue to “modernise” its aircraft and business lounges as part of a broader plan to enhance passenger experience.
LOT director of product development and customer experience, Izabela Leszczyńska, said: “The new interior design is more than a purely aesthetic update – it forms part of a cohesive strategy aimed at delivering an exceptional passenger experience.”
