French business class airline L”Avion, has announced plans to add a Saturday flight on the New York- Paris route which will operate from Paris Orly Sud to Newark New York, from 22 December.
New plans also include a second Boeing 757-200 aircraft in January 2008, which will be configured with 90 seats.
Return fares to Paris originating in New York will remain the same, starting at $2,166 (”1,057).
For a limited period only from now until December 30, L”Avion will be running a promotion from Paris for $1,412 (”689).
Customers can fly seven days a week on the New York- Paris route from 22 December. The new aircraft will enable L”Avion to double its flight frequency beginning with Friday and Sunday flights and further additional flights.
”Our all-business class model has experienced tremendous success in our first year in operation, and among our passengers, we can already count many frequent and loyal L”Avion customers.” said chief executive Marc Rochet.
”We have chosen to increase our flight frequency and introduce an additional aircraft as a result of this substantial customer response.”
