KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has opened a Crown Lounge for its premium passengers at Houston Airport ahead of the summer schedule.
Almost twice the size of its predecessor, it measures 150 sq m (1,600 sq ft) and offers seating for 100 travellers.
The airline says it is comparable to its namesake lounges at Amsterdam Schiphol, with a buffet serving hot and cold snacks, a Starbucks coffee machine, and a business corner where free WiFi internet is available.
All premium passengers (including Elite and Elite Plus members of the Flying Blue loyalty programme, as well as Business Class travellers) can use the facility, and also those on SkyTeam partner airlines.
