Dutch carrier KLM and the Malaysian national airline plan to fortify the connection between Amsterdam and Kuala Lumpur.
KLM’s CEO Peter Harman and Malaysia Airlines’ CEO Tengku Dato’ Sri Azmil Zahruddin have signed a memorandum of understanding to “further strengthen the excellent collaboration” of the two airlines and their hubs.
Few details have yet been released, but the aim is to offer improved connectivity, better schedules and more choice for passengers.
Hartman said: “This partnership is an ideal opportunity to expand the number of Australasian destinations we offer our customers.
“Malaysia Airlines enjoys a deserved reputation for consistent and high quality service, both on the ground and in the air, and so is a natural partner for KLM.”
