Fourteen major Russian destinations will now be served by KD avia, flying from London Gatwick, via Kaliningrad.
In addition to Moscow, St Petersburg, Ufa, Kazan, Volgograd, Chelyabinsk, Omsk, Samara and Nizhniy Novgorod, five more destinations have been added by the airline, including Orenburg, Ulyanovsk, Perm, Rostov-on-Don and Magnitogorsk.
KD avia flies thrice-weekly from Gatwick on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, using Boeing 737-300 aircraft.
”We”ve significantly extended the range of destinations from 29 October 2007 and we”re already seeing an increase in the number of UK originating passengers using our Gatwick service - more and more business travellers are now using our services-particularly those from smaller companies or owner-managed businesses” said UK Sales Manager, Loreta Durrell.
KD avia was established in 1945 and is now investing in the construction of a new passenger terminal in Kaliningrad”s Khrabrovo airport.
