Low cost airline Jet2.com is rolling out its premium upgrade service Jet2Plus on all flights from the UK of more than two hours ” a total of 27 destinations in all, from all six bases.
For an additional ”24.99 ($49), passengers departing from Belfast International, Blackpool, Edinburgh, Leeds, Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle can now benefit from priority check-in, security fast track, VIP lounge access, seating in the front cabin and in-flight meals and drinks.
”This is our first upgrade package, it is competitively priced and aimed to reduce the strain at the start of your holiday, short break or business trip,” said Jet2.com managing director Ian Doubtfire.
And on the recently launched Leeds Bradford-New York service an equivalent Jet2PlusUSA service costs ”99 per sector, offering travellers enhanced food and beverages ” a three-course meal, alcoholic drinks, unlimited tea and coffee - in-flight entertainment, free newspapers and magazines plus an overnight comfort pack.
There”s also an extra baggage allowance on the return leg for those doing some shopping, and better leg room.
Doubtfire added: ”New York flights take the service levels up a notch again. With a longer flight we are able to offer even more features and we”re sure at the price point we”re offering, and the limited number of exclusive seats its available on, it will be a popular upgrade.”
