Plymouth-based Air Southwest has put its inventory on the Global Distribution System following its takeover by Eastern Airways.
The regional carrier is now found on Sabre via a codeshare with its parent company, which formally took over Air Southwest last week.
The move onto the GDS is part of a strategy to attract more corporate customers to the regional airline. Air Southwest will continue to trade as before under its own brand name following the acquisition by Humberside-based Eastern.
Air Southwest commercial director Mike Coombes said that moving onto Sabre was particularly important for its Gatwick flights which attract an international market.
“By combining our proven and cost-effective model of website sales with worldwide distribution systems we can tap new markets and ensure that our flights are globally accessible,” he said.
