EasyJet has begun daily flights from Birmingham to Geneva.
This will be followed by a twice-weekly service from Birmingham to Grenoble starting 22 December.
”EasyJet”s expansion from Birmingham is great news for skiers from the Midlands, giving them more choice and a brand new service to Grenoble,” said easyJet general manager, David Osbourne.
”With the daily service to Geneva and twice-weekly flight to Grenoble they now have the opportunity to fly to the major ski gateways for the French and Swiss Alps.”
Birmingham is the 14th airport easyJet operates from, and the 79th in Europe.
Fares for easyJet flights start from ”22.99 ($47) one-way including taxes.
