A new Air Southwest flight will fly from Plymouth to Leeds Bradford via Bristol from August 3.
The flight will depart Plymouth 1635 daily except for Saturday, arrive in Bristol at 1710 and continue on to Leeds Bradford, arriving at 1845. The same route already departs from Plymouth at 0630.
The new flight will return to Plymouth the same day, leaving Leeds Bradford at 1910 and arriving back at Plymouth at 2115. A single journey costs from ”39 including taxes and charges.
Mike Coombes, deputy chief executive of Air Southwest said: ”We have found there is increasing demand for flights to Leeds Bradford from Plymouth, and these additional services will give added flexibility for business and leisure travellers alike. At a time when more people are looking to spend their holidays in the UK, improved air links to the south west are playing an important part in increasing the region”s attractiveness as a short break and holiday destination.”
Also this year the airline launched flights from Plymouth to Newcastle and Glasgow on April 28 and to Cork and Dublin on April 29. From December 20 another flight will be added, leaving Plymouth at 0900 on Saturdays and arriving at 1310 in Grenoble in the south east of France.

Update ” Air Southwest today (August 6) announced all seats on its 45-minute flights between Plymouth and Jersey will be ”39 one way including all taxes and charges. The seats must be booked online before August 11, 2008 for travel until October 31, 2008. The flights are subject to availability.
Jersey is 100 miles south of mainland Britain and 14 miles off the coast of France.
