Delta Air Lines is offering SkyMiles members 500 free air miles every time they stay at a Chateaux & Hotels Collection property following an agreement between the companies.
Customers must book a stay at one of the hotels ” the group has 500 privately owned hotels, chateaux and manors throughout France, Belgium, Italy and Spain ” via the site www.chateauxhotels.com/delta.
As a special launch deal members of Delta”s FFP will earn 1,000 air miles for bookings made between 9 January and 9 April 2008.
”We”re proud to be the first and only US airline to partner with Chateaux & Hotels Collection,” said the managing director of Delta”s SkyMiles programme, Jeff Robertson.
”This partnership complements our extensive service to 35 transatlantic markets and provides new ways for European-bound SkyMiles members to earn miles toward travel.”
When Open Skies begins in March, Delta will be codesharing with Air France-KLM to offer transatlantic services to Heathrow from JFK and Atlanta, and ramps up routes to France with Paris Orly-JFK, Charles de Gaulle-Salt Lake City and ” in July ” Lyon-JFK.
