Continental Airlines is swapping terminals at United Airlines’ largest hub airport, Chicago O’Hare.
As part of the airlines’ merger, Continental will stop operating flights from Terminal 2 and move to T1 as of tomorrow.
In a statement, Continental said the co-location is among “the first of many”, while the airlines move to streamline operations.
The airlines will operate separately until the latter half of next year, when they look to achieve a joint operating licence.
They have already started the rebranding process, however, with new livery under the name United, featuring the globe of Continental.
From next year, the Continental name will disappear from the skies.
