Oman Air has started codesharing on Bmi’s domestic routes from London Heathrow.
In turn, the UK carrier is now codesharing on Oman Air’s flights from London Heathrow to Muscat.
The agreement means passengers can now book flights with either Oman Air or Bmi between any of Bmi’s UK bases and Muscat, via Heathrow.
Passengers will need to change terminals, however, as Bmi operates out of Heathrow Terminal 1 and Oman Air out of T3.
Joerg Hennemann, Bmi’s chief commercial officer, said: “Our new codeshare with Oman Air further extends our global reach and will enable seamless and convenient travel connections for customers of both airlines between the Sultanate and key regional cities of the UK.”
