British Airways has relaunched its loyalty programme for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), On Business.
A newly designed website for the scheme has gone live, ba.com/onbusiness, which gives SMEs access to their On Business account, as well as destination guides and tools for travel.
To mark the realaunch, BA is offering free national newspaper advertising for a number of SMEs, to demonstrate its support for small businesses – the first to benefit is Newgate Clocks in Shropshire.
Free adverts for the chosen SMEs will also appear online, at ba.com/onbusiness, and in emails from the airline.
Ian Romanis, BA’s head of loyalty, said: “We’re pleased to be able to give some of our SME customers the opportunity to advertise to a broader audience and in turn to drive more revenue and grow.
With On Business, SMEs can earn points on BA flights, to be redeemed for future flights, upgrades and hotel accommodation.
“British Airways understands that the needs of small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) often differ from those of larger companies and that they sometimes struggle to gain the benefits that many big businesses are offered in their industry due to their size,” added Romanis.
According to BA, On Business members saved more than £13million on flights last year.
