Icelandair and airBaltic have signed a codeshare agreement
that will allow the carriers to sell and issue airline tickets jointly
throughout their networks.
As part of the agreement, airBaltic customers can access
routes to Iceland and North America, while Icelandair passengers can purchase a
ticket to a number of destinations in the Baltics and the rest of Europe,
including Barcelona, Rome, Milan, Billund, Madrid, Zurich, Prague and Budapest,
among others.
Both Icelandair and airBaltic have been resuming flights in phases
in recent weeks, with airBaltic saying it plans to operate 69 routes by the end
of August, including to Reykjavik, where it will connect with Icelandair.
