Business travellers flying with Air Southwest can take advantage of a new package of benefits from today (26 February).
The Plymouth and Newquay-based airline has introduced its Business Plus service, allowing passengers full flexibility as well as extra bonuses.
Business Plus passengers will be able to change any flight up to two hours before departure at no charge, while also being able to use Fast Track security channels and most business lounges at Air Southwest airports.
Further benefits include a 30kg hand luggage allowance plus a complimentary drink on board.
”With Business Plus, we will be able to offer our business customers the flexibility we know they want ” we want to make the travel experience for all our passengers hassle-free,” said Air Southwest chief executive Jim Cameron.
Today”s development comes at the same time as Air Southwest prepares to double the destinations available from Plymouth City Airport and add three new routes at Newquay.
From 28 April, the carrier will start operating daily from Plymouth to Newcastle and Glasgow, as well as Dublin and Cork. French ski destination Chambery will be added in December this year.
”Air links to and from Plymouth are crucial to the success of the city”s economy and we welcome the new routes and services for Air Southwest”s business customers this year,” said Plymouth Chamber of Commerce chief executive David Parlby.
Air Southwest operates four times daily from Plymouth and Newquay to London Gatwick, as well other scheduled services to Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Glasgow, Bristol, Cork, Dublin and Jersey.
