Air France has introduced its new La Première first class cabin on flights from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to Los Angeles.
The airline, which unveiled the new suite earlier this year, is rolling the product out across its Boeing 777-300ER fleet. The first Paris-Los Angeles service equipped with the new La Première operated on 27 September.
The new cabin features four enclosed suites, each offering 3.5 square metres of private space with a seat and a chaise longue that converts into a two-metre-long bed.
Air France is already operating aircraft fitted with the new La Première cabin on flights between Paris Charles de Gaulle and New York JFK Airport, and Los Angeles (LAX) becomes the second US destination to feature the cabin. It will be available on one daily flight between Paris and LA during the winter season.
The airline plans to introduce the new cabin on all La Première destinations by 2026, including Washington Dulles, San Francisco and Miami.
Fabien Pelous, SVP of customer experience at Air France, added: “This milestone marks a significant enhancement of Air France’s US offering and further strengthens the airline’s position as a leader in global luxury travel.”
Air France is also introducing an improved ground experience for La Première passengers at LAX, including a dedicated check-in area, priority escort through security and a private car transfer to the La Première section of the lounge.
