Irish airline Aer Lingus is to further expand its transatlantic network by adding a route between Dublin and Pittsburgh next summer.
The IAG-owned carrier will launch Dublin-Pittsburgh flights on 25 May 2026, with services operating four times per week. Sister carrier British Airways already flies from London to Pittsburgh.
Aer Lingus will use Airbus A321 XLR single-aisle aircraft on the new route, which are configured with 16 business class lie-flat seats and 168 economy class seats.
Passengers flying from Dublin to Pittsburgh can use the airport's US pre-clearance facility, which allows them to clear US customs before departure from Dublin.
The airline has already announced plans to launch a route from Dublin to Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina in April 2026, also using Airbus A321 XLR aircraft. Aer Lingus will fly to 27 destinations in North America in summer 2026.
