- A partnership of two globally renowned airworthiness consultancies
- A collaboration to deliver EASA approved aviation consultancy services and training
- A new specialist service offering for Middle East aviation companies
AVISA Aviation Safety Systems Ltd ("AVISA") announces that it has acquired 33â…“% of aeroDAC Ltd ("aeroDAC") for an undisclosed sum.
This acquisition is a strategic partnership between the two renowned leading global aerospace airworthiness consultancies in which AVISA's MD, Justin Goatcher, will also become Director of Business Development for aeroDAC.
AVISA is a leading global aerospace airworthiness and safety consultancy with offices in the UK, Eastern Europe, Asia and the Middle East. AVISA has a proven track record of providing EASA approved aviation safety services and training throughout the Middle East. They have a thorough understanding of local regulatory issues and EASA compliance requirements of those businesses flying into Europe.
aeroDAC is an international, EASA-approved design organisation, providing a comprehensive design and certification service for aircraft operators, maintenance organisations and manufacturers of aircraft and aviation products.
The collaboration of the AVISA and aeroDAC specialist teams will present an attractive service offering of EASA approved aviation safety services and training. This will enable commercial and corporate aviation companies in the Middle East to achieve better despatch and reliability, increased cost savings and improved safety levels.
Commenting on the acquisition, Justin Goatcher, AVISA MD, said:
"We look forward to working together with aeroDAC on projects in many different markets but in particular in the Middle East. This partnership means that we are now able to offer a more focused service to our clients with a reduction in project management costs and better co-ordination of both the maintenance and design aspects. We have long known that the combination of companies and consultants would result in a strong service provider, this acquisition confirms that belief and cements our relationship going forward".
Carl Thomas, Certification Director of aeroDAC, said:
"AVISA already has an established presence in the Middle East which will help aeroDAC to achieve our goal to offer modification and repair support in this important region. Combining our specialist airworthiness teams means that we can now offer a full range of services, including a wider range of training subjects to address new safety regulations like fatigue and damage tolerance and electrical wiring (EWIS), a wider support for continued airworthiness management e.g. support for imports and also kitting and spares management for modifications."
