The government will address its plans around the reform of Air Passenger Duty (APD) in the Budget on March 23.
Theresa Villiers told reporters at a conference on UK air travel that the government is looking into the effects of the per passenger tax on the aviation industry.
“We will publish our views on APD in March,” she said, “but I won’t anticipate the announcement in the Budget.”
Villiers was addressing industry leaders at Tranport Times’ A New Strategy for UK Aviation conference in central London.
