ACTE has unveiled a new extension to its website.
Known as ACTE Interactive, the aim is to create a wider travel community given the emerging popularity of social networking sites such as Facebook.
But the new site ” available through www.acte.org ” is also looking to provide tutorials and interactive debate on corporate travel. ”There are decision groups for example and travel compliance issues, but people can also add their own topics,” said NFi president Sterling Raphael, co-designer of the new website initiative.
”We will have tutorials and classes, but there will be the opportunity to personalise the site under ”Your Interest,” and form individual groups, become part of a living network.”
Available to ACTE members now, the new tool will also feature an area for suppliers, but realistically, it is more designed as an educational platform.
”There is so much content in ACTE,” continued Raphael, ”and this allows us to take a conference [for example] that last for two days and make it last forever.”
