American Airlines will start non-stop service six-times weekly from Moscow Domodedovo Chicago O” Hare airports from 3 June.
”Our aim at American is to provide convenient links to the major business centres of the world,” said AA vice president, Craig Kreeger.
American Airlines will operate using a twin class business and economy configuration on the Boeing 767-300 aircraft with 221 seats, including 30 next-generation business class seats.
The aircraft is designed with fully motorized lie-flat seats, a personal in-flight entertainment device and with audio and video on demand.
Kreeger added: ”The Russian economy is booming and many of the top 100 US corporations are doing business there, so the time is right to begin serving Moscow.”
