American Airlines (AA), British Airways (BA) and Iberia have coordinated their timetables on transatlantic routes.
The new schedules have now been released, in preparation for the launch of the airlines' joint venture this summer.
From the UK, AA and BA are creating what they have termed a “transatlantic shuttle service”.
For example, five of the 11 daily flights between Heathrow and New York currently leave at almost exactly the same time, leaving up to three hours between services.
From March 27, flights will depart every hour, on the hour between 1pm and pm fro Heathrow.
On morning departures, the maximum gap between flights will be an hour and a half.
BA and AA will also coordinate flights from London to Chicago and Miami.
