The Radisson RED Glasgow has opened its doors, marking the hotel concept’s entry into the UK market.
The 174-room, design-led property is also the first of its kind in Europe. Located near Glasgow’s SSE Hydro event venue, the concept focuses on technology, with keyless entry and self check-in and check-out available at the hotel.
Managed through the RED app, guests can do everything from requesting extra pillows and arranging a group ride to the airport. There is also a chat function built into the app for guests to connect with each other.
The ground floor space features the OUIBar + KTCHN, the hotel’s food, drink and social hub, while the RED Sky rooftop bar offers cocktails and tapas.
Meanwhile, the Event and Game studios offer up to 66sqm of meeting space, integrated technology and super-fast wifi.
