Hyatt Hotels and Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) have announced plans for a strategic alliance between their loyalty programmes, due to launch at the end of this year.
Under the agreement, World of Hyatt members will be able to earn and redeem points during stays at participating SLH properties when they book through Hyatt’s channels.
Hyatt’s portfolio stretches across 700 properties worldwide, while SLH represents more than 500 independently owned luxury hotels globally.
Mark Hoplamazian, president and CEO of Hyatt, said: “This is another example of how Hyatt continues to listen to the wants and needs of World of Hyatt members and take meaningful action. SLH’s high-end collection of boutique hotel experiences means our members will soon be able to earn and redeem World of Hyatt points in more places, including many locations in Europe and Asia.”
