LONDON'S hotel scene continues to change (even the black cab trade cannot keep up: editor).
The latest property to gain a re-branding is the Langham Hotel, a ”Grand Dame” of London hotels, originally opened by the then Prince of Wales in 1865, for many years the BBC Club and in more recent times managed by Hilton (who spent considerable sums on upgrading).
From May of this year the five star property will become part of the Langham International Group, an expanding hotel portfolio, part of the Hong Kong based Great Eagle Group, which has owned the actual property since 1996.
