Delta Air Lines will expand its transatlantic network next summer with new nonstop services from Boston to Venice and Detroit to Athens.
The US carrier will operate the Boston-Venice route four times weekly from 7 May to 29 October 2027. Flights will use Airbus A330-300 aircraft featuring Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort and Delta Main cabins.
Meanwhile, the Detroit-Athens route will operate three times weekly from 8 June to 28 October 2027. Delta will deploy Airbus A330-200 aircraft featuring the carrier’s four cabin classes.
The new routes join Delta’s previously announced daily service from Austin to Paris, which is due to launch on 27 March 2027 and will be operated in partnership with Air France. Delta will also increase its Boston-Milan service to daily in 2027.
“By adding new European destinations from Detroit and Boston, establishing Austin as a new gateway to Europe and extending service on several popular routes, we're giving customers more choice, greater flexibility and more opportunities to travel when and how they want,” said Jeff Arinder, Delta’s VP of international network planning.
