German hotel group Motel One will enter the Scandinavian market this autumn with the opening of a hotel in Copenhagen.
The ‘design-budget’ group will take over the operations of the existing h27 hotel in the city centre following renovation in 2020 and a soft rebranding this summer.
"Copenhagen is one of the most exciting cities in Europe and we are proud to enter the Scandinavian market with our first hotel in a truly fantastic location," said Stefan Lenze, co-CEO at Motel One.
“We extend a warm welcome to all employees of the hotel and look forward to welcoming and exciting many guests."
Motel One was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Munich. It operates 77 hotels across Germany, Belgium, Austria, the UK, Netherlands, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Spain and France.
