Marriott Hotels has announced the opening of its first property in the Japanese city of Osaka.
Marriott Miyako hotel, which is located in front of Osaka Abenobashi station, becomes the group’s fourth hotel in Japan.
Marriott Hotels has partnered with Miyako Hotels and Resorts to create the new co-branded hotel in Japan’s new 300-metre skyscraper, Abeno Harukas.
All of the hotel’s 360 rooms are located on the top floors of the building, which is now the tallest in Japan.
The hotel has seven meeting rooms with wifi enabled throughout the property as well as its hotel’s signature ZK restaurant.
Marriott said its re-designed lobbies and public spaces known as ‘Greatrooms’ are being deployed for the “next generation of traveller, who blend work and play, and require technology”.
