Hotel group IHG and boutique hotel specialists Mr & Mrs
Smith have launched a loyalty partnership to give IHG Rewards members access to
a wider selection of luxury and lifestyle hotels for earning and redeeming
points.
As part of the deal, IHG Rewards members can book more than
400 Mr & Mrs Smith hotels through IHG’s direct channels (including IHG.com
and the IHG app). New hotels will be added each week, with the full selection
of properties available to book by late November.
IHG said the partnership would more than double the number
of luxury and lifestyle hotels that members of the loyalty scheme can choose from.
As well as earning and redeeming loyalty points for their
stays, IHG Rewards members will receive extras at each Mr & Mrs Smith
hotel. Elite IHG Rewards members will
receive bonus points on eligible room rates according to their tiers, while
InterContinental Ambassadors and Royal Ambassadors and Kimpton Inner Circle
members will receive a complimentary room upgrade (where available) and a Mr
& Mrs Smith GoldSmith welcome gift.
