Hyatt is to grow its European portfolio by a third by 2023, the company has announced. The group says it has executed more than 20 deals for managed and franchised properties to add to the 63 already in Europe.
The UK will get its first Park Hyatt with the opening of the 203-room Park Hyatt London River Thames in the Nine Elms development and will also see the debut of Hyatt Centric in the UK with a property in Cambridge.
The Andaz brand is coming to both Lisbon and Prague while the group's Unbound collection of independent hotels welcomes the 224-room Grand Hansa Hotel in Helsinki, Finland and the 102-room Wellem Düsseldorf in Germany.
Eight Hyatt Place and Hyatt House properties are planned to open across Western Europe by 2023, including in Paris Charles de Gaulle, Cannes, Frankfurt, London and Krakow.
Hyatt Regency hotels are opening in Sofia, Malta, Tirana, Lison, Rostov on Don, Edinburgh and Zurich Airport, as well as a new property as part of the redevelopment of Olympia exhibition centre in London.
The Hyatt Centric hotel in Reykjavik will be the first of the group’s brands to come to Iceland.
