Hyatt Regency Houston
Hyatt Hotels & Resorts has started online check-in and check-out at more than 100 of its North American properties via Hyatt.com.
Guests can click a ”check-in” button on the group”s homepage after 13:00 on the day of arrival and room keys can be collected from the hotel lobby kiosks. On the morning of departure, guests will receive an email to review their account, and can proceed to check-out online. Importantly for business travellers, a copy of a folio with the balance will be sent, which is usually required for expense purposes.
Another feature to be introduced later this year will be an option for guests to select rooms when checking-in online, with images of floor plan layouts and clear availability making selection simple.
”These optional benefits are part of Hyatt”s continued effort to provide a sense of ease for our customers and reflect our commitment to raising the bar on industry standards,” said Hyatt senior vice president of operations, Gary Dollens. ”We look forward to increased demand for these services from our customers who value efficient options when travelling.”
”Web-in” ” as the company calls it ” was previously only available to Hyatt”s Gold Passport loyalty members, while ”Web-out” is a new service.
Gold Passport members will be emailed on their scheduled day of arrival with a direct link to the ”Web-in”, while online check-in for Diamond Passport members will be from 09:00.
